Amazon Product Rendering
A listing is a sequence of images, not one photograph, and every frame has a job. We render the whole set from your CAD, drawings or a sample: the main image on pure white, the lifestyle scenes, the close-ups and the infographic frames, composed square from the start and built to the rules Amazon checks.
From $100per product: five studio images on white, 7–10 days. $200 adds lifestyle, detail and infographic-ready frames.
Built to Amazon’s main image rules
The main image is the one Amazon polices hardest, and the rules are specific: a pure white background, the product alone with nothing that is not in the box, no text or graphics laid over it, and the product filling around 85% of the frame. It also needs at least 1,000 pixels on its longest side before a shopper can zoom, and we deliver comfortably above that.
This is where rendering is at its strongest. The white behind a render is exactly white because nothing was ever behind it, so there is no cut-out to clean up and no grey fringe around the edge. The shadow is placed rather than accidental, and the framing is set to the percentage rather than judged by eye on a light table.
Accurate by construction
Amazon does not ask how an image was made. Its policy turns on whether the image matches the item in the box: its features, its colours, the accessories included and its scale. A render built from the geometry your product was manufactured to gets those right by definition, because the dimensions in the image are the dimensions in the carton. We have written up what Amazon’s rules actually say about renders, photography and AI-generated scenes.
Square by composition, not by crop
Amazon and Etsy both present listings at 1:1. Composing in that ratio from the outset, rather than cropping a wide render down to it, is the difference between a product that sits confidently in the frame and one that has been trimmed to fit. Every frame in the set is composed square first, then delivered in whatever other ratios your own store or your ads need.
The frames after the main image
The rest of the listing is where the sale is made, and each frame answers one question a shopper has. What arrives in the box. How big it is next to something they already own. What it is made of. What it looks like in a room like theirs.
Much of that is infographic work rather than straight rendering. For Inner Balance’s acupressure mat, a single spike module was enlarged until its geometry was legible and each material was given its own callout. For Phyto Style’s essential oils, the label type had to survive being scaled down to a listing thumbnail. The Enhanced package includes transparent PNGs cut ready for your own infographics, and we design the infographic frames themselves when a listing calls for it.
One model, every colourway and every region
Once the product exists in 3D, a second colourway is a material change and a re-render, not another shoot day with another sample. The same holds across marketplaces: the Inner Balance set was localised for several of Amazon’s regional storefronts, and because it was composed square from the start, relabelling it for another region did not mean rebuilding it.
That is also what makes volume affordable. We have delivered more than 2,000 listing images for Rustic State since 2018, across Amazon, Etsy and their own store, from scenes built once and reused.

Getting started
What to send us.
CAD, if you have it
STEP, OBJ, FBX, SolidWorks, Rhino, or the native file from whoever engineered the product. Dimensions come straight from your geometry, with no delay to the schedule.
Drawings or a sample instead
A dimensioned drawing adds a day or two. A physical sample means photographs from six angles plus a handful of measurements, and adds two to four days.
Label and packaging artwork
The print files for anything with type on it, so labels are rendered from your artwork rather than redrawn.
Your listing as it stands
Your current images or the competitors you are up against, plus the selling points the infographic frames should carry. We do not invent claims for your product.
Process
How it works.
- 01
Brief and quote
You send the product data and the listing it is for. You get a fixed price and a delivery date in writing before anything starts.
- 02
Greyscale check
We model the product and send it back untextured, so you can check proportions and details while changes are still cheap.
- 03
Materials, light and framing
Materials are matched to your samples or references, then each frame of the listing is lit and composed square.
- 04
Two revision rounds
Both are included. Most changes at this stage are small, because the structural ones were caught at the greyscale check.
- 05
Delivery
Final images in every ratio you need, with full commercial rights transferred to you on final payment.

Questions
Common questions.
Still unsure about something? Email us and a real person replies, usually the same day.
Does Amazon allow 3D renders as listing images?
Yes. Amazon’s image policy is about accuracy rather than production method. What it prohibits is showing features, colours or accessories that are not in the box, or misrepresenting the product’s scale. A render built from your manufacturing CAD is accurate to the item by construction.
Can a 3D render be the main image?
Yes, provided it meets the same main image rules as a photograph: the product alone on a pure white background, filling around 85% of the frame, with no added text, logos or props. Those are the rules we compose the main image to.
How much does an Amazon listing image set cost?
The Basic Listing Visual is $100 per product for five studio images on white. The Enhanced Listing Visual is $200 for ten images covering studio, lifestyle and detail shots, with transparent PNGs for infographics and a five-second motion loop. Larger ranges get a written quote, and volume pricing is available.
Do you design the infographic frames too?
Yes. The Enhanced package includes transparent PNGs cut for you to build infographics on, which suits brands with their own designer. If you want the infographic frames designed for you, with the callouts, dimensions and benefit copy laid out, that is added to the quote.
How long does an Amazon image set take?
Seven to ten days for the Basic package and ten to fourteen for the Enhanced one, counted from the day we have your files. Without CAD, add a day or two for drawings, or two to four days if we are working from a sample.
What resolution do you deliver?
Square, and comfortably above the 1,000 pixels on the longest side that Amazon needs to enable zoom. The same renders are delivered in whatever other ratios your store, your Etsy listings or your ads need.
